Beautiful design, well made. Better for medium thickness hair. My hair is very thick, so that's the only caveat for the rating.

My 'Tree of Life/Druid Oak' barrettes ----- I've been wearing them for about two years. I'm too old (63), I guess, to have such long hair, but I enjoy it --- pulled back or in a salon-done or thrown-together-in-the-car bun. My first barrette was a gift from a grandchild. Since, I have misplaced one or two, my daughter has 'permanently borrowed' at least one, one is wedged between my drivers seat and console and I'm afraid if I move the seat (horror!) I'll break the barrette. They hold my hair tightly and COMFORTABLY. I receive soooo many compliments. I've gotten to the point of feeling naked without one. . . which is why I always order in sets of three! And, am lucky enough to receive them as gifts for holidays throughout the year from relatives and friends far and near. They all know, I'm never without one in my hair (and a spare in my purse.) LOVE these barrettes!

Fast service and even an included bag for the Tree of Life barrette. I especially appreciate that the clip part for my hair is the "made in France" ones. Those are the best. The detail is great and it is a very attractive piece. Thanks!

It is always nerve wracking to buy jewelry over the internet. Often the concern is whether or not it is of good quality or whether or not it fits or looks as good as it looks in the picture. I can attest that the barette I bought is everything I hoped it would be and more! Outstanding workmanship, durability and quality. It fits well and holds the hair snugly.
