Mabon - Autumn Equinox
"By all these lovely tokens
September days are here
With summer's best of weather
And autumn's best of cheer..."
-Helen Hunt Johnson
Autumn returns with Mabon, the Fall Equinox, on September 21st. Dividing night and day equally, it is a time to enjoy the fruits of the harvest and reflect on the gifts of nature before the cold drives us indoors. The Celts called this holiday Mea'n Fo'mhair, and celebrated by honoring the Green Man, giving thanks for the crops that were in and resting before the winter preparations began. Browse though our Mabon gifts selection and celebrate with us.
