I have no complaints. Perfect size. Perfectly made. And. . . .when I do allow others to see my diary or random thoughts notebook - - - yep! Had to have two of these, too!- - - I ALWAYS get a compliment. Most folks want to know where I got it. I'm so pleased.

Used to have a leather checkbook cover, but lately only had plastic stuff that lasted only a short time. Wanted another leather cover and saw this in the catalog. Received this cover and am very impressed with the quality and looks of it. It's a bit pricey, and that is the reason for the 4 star rating, other than that I am well satisfied.

The checkbook cover that I bought is beautiful and exactly what a checkbook cover should be. The review before shows that the writer wanted something besides a check book cover. It is very difficult to find books or checkbook done in the pressed leather like these are. I have looked for them and they just aren't in regular stores. Thank you Gaelsong. I love it.

I received this journal as a gift and could not have been more pleased! I had been eyeballing it for some time but put off buying it, my girlfriend did though and it is wonderful. You will be incredibly surprised by the workmanship and quality. Refills are available through the company that makes the journals or you can simply find another to fit it elsewhere. I lug mine everywhere and it has held up incredibly well. I highly recommend one!

I have used both the checkbook and journal (as well as an address book) for years now with pride and comfort. These beautifully made pieces become more so as they are used; they are a source of satisfaction and comfort each time I reach for one of them--which is daily. I highly recommend them to all--you will not be disappointed!

I have purchased leather bound journals in the past and they are very stiff. This was not stiff at all, it bends and is very well made. You will be very happy with it.
