Silver leaf pin

Really nice leaf pin, has a magical nature look to it. It reminds me of a fairy tale that had trees with silver leaves. I got the silver color one - it goes with everything, and I think it will be especially nice for winter hats and coats. It's sturdy, but not too heavy. I use it now as a closure for a cardigan sweater that has no buttons - it looks nice.

Brilliant Idea

Just before the holidays, I was gifted with a beautiful russet velvet hooded cloak with sleeves with the hint that I should wear it to celebrate Yule, which I did. the cloak however had cumbersome ties at the neck which I did not like. I spotted the leaf broach and an idea was born and pair of the leaf pins and a short piece of gold chain fashioned a perfect cloak clasp.
