Perfection This is the perfect sweatercoat... I must admit when I got the box in the mail, I thought it was very light and prepared to be disappointed, but that's one of the great things about it... lightweight but really really warm. It's long, has pockets and a high collar and fits great. The yarn is beautiful, pictures don't do it justice. Ordered the wineberry and loved it so much ordered the granite too. Second skin I scraped together all my birthday money to purchase this - for me - quite dear sweater and I can say I have no regrets. It exceeded my expectations and then some. The sweater is extremely warm without being too bulky - I often wear it under my knee-length down coat during the maine winter. I also wear it around our cold and somewhat drafty home (winter here is usually half the year.) The yarn used is beautiful, flecked with lovely colors, and not too itchy. The sweater is well-constructed - I did have one button fall off, but that is no big deal to fix at home. I have had dozens of compliments about it and have even sought out donegal yarn now in my own knitting projects. midwest I just received this sweater coat in the mail, and have to say it is the ultimate sweater coat. I know because I have been searching the web a long time. It is not prickly but very soft, very warm, very well made, very slimming. I wear a large and it is a perfect fit. I love the big collar which can be bunched around the neck for warmth. Well worth the wait My coat just arrived today; the last of my Christmas gifts. This was backordered for several months, but WORTH THE WAIT! When the catalog suggests they run a bit small, be aware they do. Your best bet is to go 1 size up. It's so warm and a wonderful weight to keep the chill out. Love this sweater coat! I love this! I read the previous reviews, and was even happier when I got it. It is very warm, yet so light... I don't know how. I have had many compliments on it.
