The raven ring...perfect! I have always loved ravens and crows. I've studied the myths and legends from all over the world and even helped in some research about ravens/crows and their habits/intelligence. I have always want a ring that either symbolized a raven or had something special on it relating to ravens. I designed a ring but it was too expensive to get it created for me. I came upon your ring and fell in love! I was a little nervous at first...most of the reviews about silver rings say they tarnish easily and turn the finger green, but I opted to take a chance. I'm glad I did. It looks very rough around the edges and sits at an angle on your finger. The relief of the raven is gorgeous and beautiful with little details. I wear it all the time, except when bathing or washing dishes. It hasn't tarnished or turned my finger green at all. It is as lovely and bright as it was when I opened its box! Sterling silver never turns my finger green . . . I have a considerable collection of sterling silver jewelry and anything stamped with a "925" hallmark never has turned my finger or anything else green. Some individuals are allergic to the nickel alloy which can be found in ss, but ss is a precious metal and generally behaves itself. NOT wearing ss results in tarnish; contact w/ skin keeps the surface shiny and gorgeous. The raven ring is my favorite everyday ring. I wear it all the time--bathing, washing dishes, whatever (except for swimming in chlorinated pools -- never good for most jewelry anyway.) It has become a part of me over the past couple of years and I feel naked on the rare occasion that I don't wear it. GaelSong rules! I've never been disappointed in any way. – Karen C. Unique, fun ring I love the design and whimsy of this ring. I wear silver jewelry every day, including other pieces from Gaelsong, so I was surprised that it turned my finger green the first time I wore it. I polished it with a silver polishing cloth, and I haven't had any problems with it since then. significant, gorgeous ring I was quite surprised at the sheer size and weight of this ring. It is a big piece for me, I have relatively small hands.
