Ancient Glow.... This lamp is beautiful, but it is only intended as an accent light. It gives off a beautiful glow, but does not give off enough light to "light" the room. Also the pull chain is a little wonky. I have had to thread mine back in a few times. Works well as a bedside lamp. – Laura, 2010-08-12
