The horseshoe for good luck began with the Celts, who believed that iron would keep away otherworldly beings. Thus, they would nail up a horseshoe, it being the most handy piece of iron. This handsome belt buckle in a stylized horseshoe shape might not cause you to win the lottery, but it will look good with its 1 1/2" wide leather belt embossed with eternal knots. Black or brown.
