Celtic Serving Dishes
Serve your guests magnificently. This extraordinary hand-thrown stoneware pottery from a medieval village in Ireland brings remarkable artistry to your table. Casseroles are ringed with knotwork, with knotwork medallion on the interior bottom, and bear a sweeping wave on the lids. Larger serving dish holds two quarts and has handles. Casserole for one holds two cups, good for elegant solo dining or a small side dish. 3 ¾" diameter nut dish—also good for condiments--features a triple-spiral on the interior. Tea caddy (5" tall, 5½" diameter) is decorated with spirals and knotwork; lid keeps contents secure. All pieces are individually hand-glazed to enhance the spontaneous nature of the finish—no two pieces will ever be exactly the same. Available in Seashore (shown) or Mountain Green (see item D6200).
