Perhaps for display only? I purchased two of these, and each had to be returned. They are beautiful to behold, a joy to feel in the hand, fine artwork -- truly stunning! However, the first watch arrived missing its back. The second watch's stem fell out the first time my son tried to set it to the correct time. He had wanted one of these Celtic design watches for a long time, but it didn't seem as if they were meant to be really used as a functioning timepiece. Almost a year and it still works Needless to say watches and I never got along. They always break, either wrist or pocket it did not matter. This watch has been a champ! I even accidentally washed it with my work kilt, and in the dryer it was all busted up except the crystal. It was very easy to assemble and has not skipped a beat since. The style has been a real eye catcher, even though I wear a kilt everyday I get comments about the watch. Yes, it even makes all my black sheep sweaters look too!
