Just inside the fabled scenic Ring of Kerry in the sheep-dotted hills of western Ireland, nestled alongside the River Gweestin, Kerry Woolen Mills is one of the last surviving traditional woolen mills still manufacturing. Established over 300 years ago, the mill drew on the river for power to drive the machinery and water to wash and dye the wool. While the machinery has changed through the years, many of the 300-year-old buildings are still in use, fine woolens passing through their doors as they have for centuries.

In 1904, the Eadie family, long-time woolen manufacturers, bought the Kerry mill, which continues under the guidance of the fourth generation.
