Created by master artisans in a small family workshop in the remote medieval village of Carlingford, at the base of Slieve Foy mountain in County Louth, Ireland, this extraordinary hand-thrown pottery is a pleasure to hold. Founded in 1995 by husband and wife team Ciarán O'Conboirne and Jenn Fitzgerald, the Celtic Clays studio is the expression of Ciarán's life-long appreciation of Celtic design.

Inspired by the Irish landscape and formed from the soil itself, Celtic Clays pottery is an expression of the Irish spirit. A combination of timeless pottery hand-throwing technique and up-to-date kilns produce extraordinary works. Each piece is individually hand-glazed to enhance the spontaneous nature of the finish - no two pieces will ever be exactly the same.
